The Green Wave's recent performance has been a rollercoaster of highs and lows. On December 22nd, they narrowly missed victory against George Mason Patriots with a final score of 66-69. Despite this setback, TULN demonstrated their defensive strength by racking up an impressive 12 steals and limiting their turnovers to just eight. Their shooting from beyond the arc was not as effective as desired, hitting only 32 percent of their three-point attempts.

However, it was TULN's explosive offense that caught everyone's attention in their game on December 16th against Southern University Jaguars. Scoring an outstanding 105 points with a field goal percentage of over 66 percent shows that when they find their rhythm, they can be unstoppable. Their two-point shooting was particularly remarkable at nearly 79 percent accuracy.

In one of the most thrilling games this season on December 15th against Furman Paladins which went into double overtime, TULN emerged victorious with an awe-inspiring scoreline of 117-110. This high-scoring affair highlighted TULN's tenacity and endurance under pressure—a trait that will serve them well in future contests.

The Mustangs should not be underestimated though; they will have home-court advantage and are known for being formidable opponents within their own walls at Moody Coliseum.

For Tulane fans looking forward to this matchup, it is clear that consistency will be key for TULN if they wish to secure a win away from home. Capitalizing on fast break opportunities while maintaining defensive solidity could tilt the scales in favor of Tulane Green Wave.

With anticipation building up among fans who bleed Olive and Blue colors, all eyes will be on whether TULN can carry forward their offensive momentum while tightening up defense around the perimeter—two critical factors that could decide the outcome in Dallas.

Remembering past glories but focusing firmly on future triumphs—the stage is set for what could potentially become another memorable chapter in Tulane basketball history.

Fans can catch all the action live from Moody Coliseum or tune into ESPN2 channel number 209 nationally at midnight Eastern Time (ET) as these two teams battle it out on February second.
