The Green Wave's recent performances have been nothing short of spectacular, and there is every reason to believe that this momentum will carry them through in their upcoming game.

Tulane Green Wave VS SMU Mustangs

Looking back at Tulane's last game on December 22 against George Mason Patriots, despite a narrow loss with a scoreline of 66-69, the Green Wave showed remarkable resilience. They managed an impressive 12 steals and forced 16 turnovers, converting these into 16 points off turnovers. Although their field goal percentage was just 34 percent and three-point shooting stood at 32 percent, they excelled in free throws with a commendable conversion rate of 76 percent.

In contrast, during their dominant victory over Southern University Jaguars on December 16 where they scored an astounding total of 105 points, TULN showcased their offensive prowess by shooting an exceptional 66 percent from the field and an even more impressive three-point percentage of 48. Their ability to control the paint was evident as they racked up a massive total of 46 points in that area.

The most notable performance came against Furman Paladins on December 15 when TULN emerged victorious after two periods of overtime with a final scoreline reading an electrifying117-110. Their tenacity was on full display as they made critical plays down the stretch which included maintaining a high field goal percentage (56) throughout four periods while also capitalizing on turnovers by scoring22 points off them.

The key takeaway from these past games is Tulane's ability to adapt and excel in various facets of play whether it be defense or offense. Their aggressive defense has consistently put pressure on opponents leading to turnovers which have been efficiently converted into crucial points.

SMU Mustangs should not be underestimated though; they bring their own set of challenges that TULN must navigate carefully. However, given Tulane's recent form and home-court advantage where fan support has proven invaluable time after time – it seems likely that we'll witness another strong performance from the home team.

Fans can look forward to this exciting matchup scheduled for February16th at Devlin Fieldhouse in New Orleans.
