Tulane's Defensive Efforts and Offensive Struggles

The Green Wave showcased a mixed performance with notable defensive efforts but struggled offensively throughout the game. They managed to block four shots and steal five times from their opponents. However, their shooting accuracy was less than ideal; they shot only 36 percent from the field and an even more disappointing 17 percent from beyond the arc.

Rowan Brumbaugh emerged as a standout player for Tulane, scoring 19 points and providing four assists alongside seven rebounds. His performance was crucial for keeping Tulane in contention during various phases of the game. Kaleb Banks also made significant contributions with 14 points, five rebounds, and two blocks, demonstrating his all-around capabilities on both ends of the court.

The team also excelled in distributing ball possession which is evident from their total of eighteen assists.

The Tigers were particularly effective inside paint scoring thirty-four points compared to Tulane’s similar output but were more efficient in converting opportunities into points off turnovers with eleven points gained through this avenue.
