Knights Set to Clash with Red Raiders in Orlando's Arena Showdown

As the University of Central Florida Knights prepare to host the Texas Tech Red Raiders at Addition Financial Arena, fans are eager to see if the home-court advantage will play a pivotal role in this highly anticipated matchup. The Knights have been showing a mixed bag of performances recently, and their upcoming game on February 24th promises to be a true test of their resilience.

In their last three games, UCF has displayed varying degrees of success. Against Baylor Bears at home, they shot an impressive 54 percent from the field and an extraordinary 52 percent from beyond the arc. However, this sharpshooting was not enough to secure victory as they fell short by eight points in a high-scoring affair.

The Knights bounced back with a strong performance against Oklahoma Sooners, also on their home turf. They dominated both halves leading to a comfortable win while shooting 42 percent from the field and an exceptional 88 percent from the free-throw line – showcasing their ability under pressure.

However, consistency remains an issue for UCF as evidenced by their most recent game against Texas Tech Red Raiders where they lost by seven points away from home. Despite grabbing more rebounds than in previous games (37), they struggled with shooting accuracy – only making 36 percent of field goals and just 21 percent from three-point range.

The upcoming rematch offers UCF an opportunity for redemption. With Addition Financial Arena providing familiar territory and fan support that could spur them on towards improved performance especially in shooting efficiency which has proven critical in past outings.

Fans can catch all the action live on ESPN+ as these two teams go head-to-head once again. Will UCF capitalize on its home-court advantage? Or will Texas Tech disrupt proceedings? All eyes will be on Orlando come February 24th at 9 PM Eastern Time when these contenders take center stage.
