The game, held at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, was a showcase of tactical execution by the Knights. They managed to outscore their opponents by seven points in the first half and extended that lead with an additional seven-point margin by the end of the second half. The team's offensive efforts were bolstered by a remarkable 50 percent success rate from beyond the arc, sinking nine three-pointers on eighteen attempts.

Defensively, UCF was just as formidable with nine blocks and nine steals contributing to their dominance on court. Their defensive prowess limited Oklahoma State to a mere 37 percent field goal percentage and forced them into thirteen turnovers throughout the game. Moreover, UCF capitalized on these turnovers scoring seventeen points off them.

The free throw line also proved advantageous for UCF as they converted 18 out of 24 attempts which accounted for a solid 75 percent free throw percentage. This compared favorably against Oklahoma State's less efficient 64 percent from the charity stripe.

On top of that, UCF dominated inside with twenty-four points scored in paint versus eighteen by Oklahoma State. The rebounding battle was also won by UCF who collected forty-three rebounds including twenty-nine defensive boards which helped limit second-chance opportunities for their opponents.

Oklahoma State did put up resistance with eleven blocks and thirty-seven total rebounds but it wasn't enough to counteract their lower shooting percentages across all categories: field goals (37 percent), two-points (42 percent), three-points (31 percent), and free throws (64 percent).

As fans look ahead after this decisive victory, they can mark their calendars for an exciting upcoming game where UCF Knights will face off against BYU Cougars at T-Mobile Center once again. Scheduled for March 13th at 10:30 AM Central Time Zone fans can catch all action live on ESPN2 as both teams vie for supremacy on court once more in Kansas City.
