Can the UNLV Runnin' Rebels Ride Their Home Court Advantage to Victory?

As the UNLV Runnin' Rebels prepare to face off against the San Jose State Spartans, fans are eager to see if their team can capitalize on their home court advantage at the Thomas & Mack Center. The upcoming clash promises to be an intriguing one, with both teams looking to assert dominance.

The Rebels have shown a mixed bag of results in their recent outings. In their last game against Nevada's Wolf Pack, they fell just short, scoring 66 points compared to Nevada's 69. Despite outperforming Nevada in steals and blocks and maintaining a higher assist-to-turnover ratio (1.1), they couldn't clinch the win.

However, prior performances offer a glimmer of hope for Rebel supporters. Against Fresno State Bulldogs, they secured a narrow victory with 67 points over Fresno's 65. Their shooting was impressive; they boasted a field goal percentage of 54 percent and were particularly dominant inside the paint with 38 points.

Their most notable recent performance came against New Mexico's Lobos where they emerged victorious with an impressive scoreline of 80-77. The Rebels showcased their defensive prowess with six blocks and capitalized on turnovers by scoring 13 points off them.

The key for UNLV will be consistency in shooting accuracy and leveraging turnovers while maintaining strong defense under pressure from San Jose State Spartans' offense.

Fans can expect an intense battle as both teams vie for supremacy on March 3rd at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. With home support behind them, it remains to be seen if UNLV can harness this energy into a winning formula on game day.
