In their recent game on December 18 against the Auburn Tigers, the Trojans emerged victorious with a close score of 74-71. Their defensive prowess was evident as they racked up 13 steals and limited turnovers to just 12 compared to Auburn's 23. The offensive side was equally impressive with a free throw percentage of 82 percent and points in paint totaling 34, showcasing their ability to penetrate defenses effectively.

The previous game on December 15 saw an even more dominant performance from USC against Long Beach State Beach. The final scoreboard read an emphatic 88-78 in favor of the Trojans. Their shooting accuracy was on full display with an overall field goal percentage of nearly half at 49 percent and an exceptional three-point shooting rate of 44 percent. Moreover, they demonstrated excellent ball distribution with a total of 24 assists.

Looking back further into their season, on December 8, USC faced Cal State Fullerton Titans where they secured a comfortable win with a scoreline of 64-50. Once again, defense played a key role as they notched nine steals and four blocks while maintaining control over turnovers.

The upcoming match against CSU is expected to be no different for USC in terms of intensity and execution. With consistent scoring from inside and beyond the arc coupled with aggressive defense leading to turnovers and fast-break opportunities, it's clear that USC has found its rhythm this season.

CSU will need to bring its A-game if it hopes to disrupt this pattern for USC. They must focus on protecting the ball better than Auburn did while also finding ways through or around what has proven to be a formidable Trojan defense.

Trojan fans should mark their calendars for this exciting matchup scheduled for December 22 at Footprint Center in Phoenix; tip-off is set for late evening local time (11:00 PM ET).
