In an intense matchup at Galen Center, witnessed by 6,142 fans, both teams fought tooth and nail through regulation and two overtimes. The USC Trojans showcased their defensive skills with eight blocks and an impressive eleven steals. Their offense was facilitated through teamwork which was evident from their twenty-two assists over the course of the game.

The home team's shooting accuracy was notable as they made forty-seven percent of their field goals and forty-three percent from beyond the arc. Inside scoring was also a strong point for them as they racked up forty-six points in paint. However, despite these efforts, they fell short by three points to conclude this hard-fought contest.

A standout performance came from within USC's ranks; their assist-to-turnover ratio stood at an admirable 2.75 compared to Colorado's 0.75 – a testament to their careful ball handling and playmaking abilities under pressure.

On the other side of court, Colorado demonstrated solid shooting prowess making fifty-two percent of field goals and forty-five percent from three-point range which contributed significantly to their victory margin. They also dominated rebounds pulling down forty-eight compared to USC’s twenty-five which included eleven offensive boards leading to seventeen second-chance points for Colorado.

As both teams displayed moments of brilliance throughout four halves plus two overtime periods – including five times tied and fourteen lead changes – it ultimately came down to critical plays in extra time where Colorado managed nineteen points over USC’s sixteen.

Looking ahead after this heartbreaker at home, fans can catch the next action-packed game featuring the USC Trojans as they visit Pauley Pavilion on February 24th at 7:00 PM Pacific Time against cross-town rivals UCLA Bruins.
