From tip-off to final buzzer, the Utah State Aggies displayed a commanding presence on their home court. The team's offensive efforts were led by sharp shooting from both inside and beyond the arc, with field goal percentages of 46 and three-point percentages of 33 respectively. This scoring efficiency contributed to a robust first half performance where they put up 32 points, followed by an even more dominant second half with an additional 48 points.

The Aggies' defense was equally formidable, amassing six steals and two blocks throughout the game. Their defensive prowess was further highlighted by their ability to limit turnovers to just eight while forcing eleven from the Buccaneers. This tenacity translated into ten points off turnovers for Utah State.

On top of that, Utah State excelled in ball distribution with sixteen assists leading to numerous scoring opportunities. They also outpaced East Tennessee State University in fast break points with thirteen compared to seven for ETSU.

The Buccaneers fought valiantly despite falling short on this occasion. They managed twenty-seven personal rebounds but struggled from long range, converting only four out of twenty-five three-point attempts which amounted to a mere sixteen percent success rate from downtown. Their free throw performance also left room for improvement as they made twenty-one out of thirty-five attempts.

East Tennessee State University did have moments where they shined defensively; they blocked one shot and came away with five steals during play time but ultimately could not contain the offensive surge from Utah State.

As fans look ahead, they can mark their calendars for when the Utah State Aggies take on Air Force Falcons at Clune Arena located in Colorado Springs on January 2nd at 2:00 PM Mountain Time. This upcoming game will be available for viewing via MW Network online broadcasts.
