From tip-off to final buzzer, the Utah State team showcased their skillful playmaking and sharpshooting abilities. They shot an exceptional 63 percent from the field and were particularly dominant inside the arc with a remarkable 73 percent shooting on two-point attempts. Their scoring was bolstered by converting four out of twelve three-point shots, culminating in a solid 33 percent completion rate from beyond the arc.

The Aggies also excelled in fast-break situations, racking up an impressive total of 17 fast break points. This high-tempo approach kept them ahead throughout both halves as they scored 42 points before halftime and added another commanding performance with 46 points in the second half.

Defensively, Utah State was just as formidable. They amassed nine steals which contributed to their aggressive defense leading to numerous turnovers by their opponents. The team capitalized on these opportunities by scoring a notable total of 21 points off turnovers.

On top of that, they controlled both ends of the court with rebounds – grabbing a total of twenty-nine boards including nineteen defensively and eight offensively – which helped maintain possession and create second-chance opportunities resulting in fourteen additional points for their side.

The paint was virtually owned by Utah State as they tallied up an overwhelming majority of their points there; fifty-two came from within close range underlining their physical dominance during play.

In terms of ball distribution and teamwork, fifteen assists were recorded showing that this victory was not just about individual performances but also about cohesive team effort. Despite committing nine turnovers themselves, they maintained an assist-to-turnover ratio above one (1.67), indicating efficient ball handling throughout this matchup.

As for personal fouls committed during gameplay; twenty-one were attributed to Utah State players which is reflective of their intense defensive engagement during this conference game showdown against Air Force who had twenty-three fouls themselves along with two foulouts compared to just one for USU.

Looking ahead after such an emphatic win on enemy territory at Clune Arena in Colorado Springs; fans can eagerly anticipate when Utah State will next hit hardwood floors back home at Dee Glen Smith Spectrum located in Logan where they are scheduled to face off against Colorado State Rams on January sixth at seven o'clock PM Mountain Time Zone (MT).
