At the Viejas Arena in San Diego, the Utah State Aggies were unable to secure victory despite an impressive display of teamwork and skill. The team's effort was evident in their statistics: they achieved a commendable field goal percentage of 41 and were particularly effective from the free-throw line with an accuracy rate of 85 percent. Their two-point attempts were successful half of the time.

The Aggies demonstrated strong defensive capabilities with eight steals and four blocks throughout the game. They also showed proficiency in ball distribution with fifteen assists but struggled to maintain possession at times, resulting in twelve turnovers.

A notable aspect for Utah State was their ability to score within the paint, contributing 32 points from such plays. However, they fell short on three-point attempts with only six made out of twenty-three tries – translating to just over one-quarter success rate from beyond the arc.

On the other side, San Diego State capitalized on their opportunities more effectively. They boasted higher overall field goal accuracy at nearly half and converted nine out of twenty attempts from three-point range – an impressive forty-five percent success rate that undoubtedly contributed to their win.

The rebounding battle was won by San Diego State as well; they collected thirty-nine rebounds compared to thirty by Utah State. This included both offensive and defensive efforts where they surpassed Utah's numbers slightly but significantly enough to make a difference.

As for fast break points and second-chance points – areas that often reflect hustle and tenacity – San Diego had seven fast break points against Utah's three and doubled up on second-chance points at fifteen versus eight for Utah.

Looking ahead after this tough loss on foreign ground, fans can look forward to seeing how their team will bounce back when they host Nevada Wolf Pack at Dee Glen Smith Spectrum in Logan. This upcoming game is scheduled for February 6th at 6:00 PM Mountain Time (MT). Fans who are eager not to miss any action can tune into MW Network via internet broadcast networks for live coverage.
