Their tenacity on defense also paid dividends with four steals and two blocks contributing significantly towards halting Bulldog advances.


In terms of individual contributions for Utah State: free throws were critical – nineteen made from twenty-nine attempts – reflecting a sixty-six percent success rate which proved crucial in such a tight contest where every point mattered immensely.
