The Utah team showcased resilience throughout the game. They managed to block five shots and steal possession three times from their opponents. Their efforts were also evident in their assist tally which stood at 11 for the game. The team's field goal attempts totaled 60, converting into a shooting percentage of 42 percent overall. From beyond the arc, they struggled somewhat, making just four out of 22 attempts resulting in an eighteen percent success rate from three-point territory.

In terms of rebounding, Utah pulled down a total of 29 boards – nine offensive and eighteen defensive – contributing to several second-chance opportunities which they converted into four points. However, they were outdone by Washington State's impressive tally of forty-one rebounds.

Utah's performance inside was more effective; they scored forty points in paint compared to Washington State's thirty-two. This was partly due to their fifty-five percent shooting accuracy on two-point attempts where they made twenty-one out of thirty-eight shots taken.

Free throw shooting was another area where improvement could be sought as Utah made only three free throws from seven attempts which is roughly forty-three percent success rate at the line.

On defense, despite matching blocks with five each alongside Washington State and limiting personal fouls to twenty for themselves against fifteen by their opponents; turnovers proved costly for Utah as ten player turnovers led to six points off turnovers for Washington State who capitalized better on these opportunities scoring thirteen such points.

Looking ahead after this tough encounter at Beasley Coliseum in Pullman, WA before an attendance of two thousand six hundred and five spectators; fans can look forward to seeing how Utah will regroup as they prepare for their next challenge against the Washington Huskies at Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion located in Seattle on January twenty-seventh scheduled for eight o'clock PM Mountain Time (MT). This upcoming game will be broadcasted nationally on ESPN2 channel two hundred nine ensuring fans won't miss any action from this conference matchup.
