Conversely, despite falling short on many fronts against a robust Cavalier defense, Albany did manage some resistance by converting eight free throws from eleven attempts at an accuracy rate of approximately seventy-three percent. They also put up three blocks and three steals defensively but were hindered by sixteen personal fouls over the course of play.


As for turnovers, both teams maintained relatively low numbers; however,the Cavaliers capitalized more effectively on these opportunities scoring nine points off turnovers compared to just two for Albany.
