As the Virginia Cavaliers prepare to host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons at John Paul Jones Arena, fans are eager to see if their team can maintain its recent momentum. In their last game against the Memphis Tigers, despite a valiant effort, the Cavaliers fell short with 54 points against the Tigers' 77. The team struggled from beyond the arc with a three-point percentage of just 21 percent and turned over the ball 18 times. However, they did manage to put up an impressive fight in terms of assists (14) and steals (8), showcasing their ability to create opportunities and disrupt plays.

Earlier encounters offer more hope for Virginia fans. A tight victory over Northeastern saw them edge out with 56 points against Northeastern's 54. Their defensive prowess was on display as they blocked four shots and made eight steals while maintaining an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.6 – indicating better ball control than in subsequent games.

The most promising performance came against North Carolina Central Eagles where Virginia dominated with a scoreline of 77-47. Their field goal percentage stood at an impressive 54 percent, coupled with high efficiency from two-point range (60 percent). They also excelled in creating scoring opportunities through fast breaks and capitalizing on turnovers.

As we look towards the upcoming clash, it's clear that consistency is key for Virginia. If they can harness their demonstrated offensive capabilities and tighten up ball security, they stand a good chance of overcoming Wake Forest on home turf.
