The Virginia Tech Hokies have been showcasing a dominant performance in recent games. On December 21st against American University's Eagles, they secured a commanding victory with a score of 77-55. Their offensive prowess was on full display as they shot an astounding 64 percent from the field and an exceptional 82 percent from two-point range. With such high shooting percentages, it's clear that when VT finds its rhythm, they can be unstoppable.

Furthermore, their defensive efforts cannot go unnoticed; five blocks and four steals against American University's team demonstrate their ability to disrupt opponents' plays effectively. The Hokies also outrebounded their rivals by seven boards in that game, highlighting their control over both ends of the court.

In another impressive outing on December 16th against Vermont's Catamounts, VT emerged victorious with a score of 73-51. Their balanced attack saw them shoot over 42 percent from the field while maintaining strong defense with six steals and three blocks.

Against Valparaiso Beacons on December 9th, VT once again came out on top with a final score of 71-50. They showed resilience despite committing as many turnovers as points scored off turnovers (17), which could be an area of concern moving forward but also indicates potential for growth if turnovers are reduced.

The Boston College Eagles will certainly not make it easy for VT; however, given recent performances and statistics favoring Virginia Tech—especially considering BC’s lower shooting percentages—it seems likely that VT will extend its winning streak at home.

Fans should expect another robust showing by Virginia Tech as they look to exploit BC’s weaknesses while continuing to capitalize on their own strengths: efficient scoring and solid defense leading to transition opportunities.

Mark your calendars for this exciting matchup at Cassell Coliseum in Blacksburg on January 24th at 9:00 PM EST. Fans can catch all the action live on ACC Network channel number six hundred twelve or join fellow supporters in person for what is set up to be another showcase of collegiate basketball talent by Virginia Tech Hokies.
