The Demon Deacons have been on an impressive run lately, showcasing their prowess in recent games. On December 21, they delivered a stunning performance against the Blue Hose, securing a commanding victory with 91 points to their opponent's 68. Their offensive play was nothing short of spectacular; they shot an astounding 55 percent from both the field and two-point range while sinking free throws at an exceptional rate of 91 percent. Moreover, they capitalized on turnovers by scoring 26 points off them and demonstrated remarkable ball distribution with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.44.

Similarly, WAKE's encounter with Delaware State Hornets on December 19 saw them emerge victorious once again, netting a solid win with an impressive scoreline of 88-59. Their ability to control the paint was evident as they racked up 34 points inside and maintained shooting accuracy from two-point range at nearly sixty percent. Notably, their defense translated into offense as they scored twenty-four points off turnovers.

Against N.J.I.T Highlanders on December 10th, WAKE continued their winning streak by posting another convincing win (83-59). They dominated inside the paint scoring forty-two points and showed balanced three-point shooting at forty-three percent accuracy.

The Cavaliers should not be underestimated though; they are known for their disciplined defense and methodical approach to each game. However, given WAKE's recent form – particularly in converting defensive plays into scoring opportunities – it seems likely that Wake Forest will carry this momentum into Charlottesville.

With such robust performances leading up to this match-up against UVA, it is hard not to favor Wake Forest for yet another display of basketball brilliance come game day.

Fans can catch all the action live from John Paul Jones Arena or tune into ESPN Networks for television coverage starting at noon Eastern Time on February 17th. This is one encounter you won't want to miss as these two formidable teams go head-to-head in what promises to be a thrilling contest!
