In their last game on February 24 against the Duke Blue Devils, ranked 8th nationally, WAKE emerged victorious with an impressive score of 83-79. This win was no fluke; it was a testament to their offensive prowess as they shot an astonishing 60 percent from the field and an impressive 53 percent from beyond the arc. Their assists-to-turnover ratio stood at a solid 2.33, indicating smart ball-handling and teamwork.

The Demon Deacons' performance against Pittsburgh Panthers on February 21 further cements their status as formidable opponents. Dominating with a final score of 91-58, WAKE showcased not only offensive strength but also defensive tenacity by securing three blocks and five steals while maintaining high shooting percentages across the board – including an almost perfect free throw percentage at 95 percent.

However, it's crucial not to underestimate Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets who will be looking to disrupt WAKE's rhythm in this upcoming clash. While GT may not have had standout performances recently, any team can rise to the occasion on game day.

WAKE fans should keep an eye out for how well their team maintains its shooting accuracy and whether they can continue exploiting turnovers for points as effectively as in past games. With such high stakes in conference play, every possession will count towards solidifying Wake Forest's position or giving GT a chance for an upset.

The scheduled tip-off is set for March 5 at 9:00 PM Eastern Time at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, NC. Fans won't want to miss this matchup and can catch all the action live on ACC Network.
