In an impressive display at Capital One Arena, the Wake Forest team demonstrated why they are a force to be reckoned with. The home team's offense was firing on all cylinders as they shot an impressive 46 percent from the field and an even more remarkable 51 percent from two-point range. Their scoring was well-distributed among players, but it was their points in the paint that truly made a difference, tallying up to a substantial total of 38.

The defensive efforts by Wake Forest were equally noteworthy. They managed to block seven shots while both teams recorded six steals each. This defensive prowess contributed significantly to their fast break points, where they outpaced Notre Dame with a total of 15 compared to just five by the Fighting Irish.

Rebounding was another area where Wake Forest excelled; they out-rebounded Notre Dame by securing 37 rebounds against Notre Dame's 35. Particularly notable were their offensive rebounds which stood at thirteen, helping them achieve sixteen second-chance points.

Notre Dame struggled with accuracy throughout the game; shooting just 29 percent from field goal range and making only eight out of twenty-six two-point attempts — a mere thirty-one percent success rate. Despite this setback, they excelled at free throws where they scored an outstanding eighty-nine percent but it wasn't enough to close the gap created by Wake Forest's dynamic play.

As for individual performances that stood out for Wake Forest: assists were distributed effectively across ten instances which reflected good ball movement and teamwork on offense — resulting in an assist-to-turnover ratio of about one point four three compared to Notre Dame's zero point seven.

Looking ahead for fans of Wake Forest Demon Deacons is another exciting matchup as they will face off against Pittsburgh Panthers at Capital One Arena on March fourteenth at two-thirty PM Eastern Time. This game will be broadcasted live on ESPN2 for those eager supporters who wish to follow every moment as it unfolds.
