Key Performances on Court


Cameron Hildreth emerged as a standout player for Wake Forest, contributing significantly with 23 points, 5 rebounds, and an impressive five steals. His performance was pivotal in securing this win for his team. Hildreth's shooting accuracy was remarkable; he achieved a field goal percentage of 73 percent and was flawless from beyond the arc.


Hunter Sallis also made substantial contributions with 20 points and led the team in rebounds with eight. His effort on both ends of the court underscored his importance to Wake Forest's game plan.


Efton Reid showcased his efficiency by scoring 19 points on an exceptional field goal percentage of 89 percent. Reid's presence in the paint was undeniable as he also contributed four rebounds and blocked one shot.

The California Golden Bears showed resilience despite falling short. They managed to out-rebound Wake Forest with a total of 32 rebounds compared to Wake Forest's 26 but struggled with turnovers which ultimately hindered their momentum.


The Golden Bears' bench contributed seven points but it wasn't enough to overcome Wake Forest’s robust defense which forced thirteen turnovers from California players.
