Washington State Cougars Set to Host Idaho Vandals at Beasley Coliseum

As the Washington State Cougars prepare to host the Idaho Vandals at Beasley Coliseum, fans are eager for a glimpse of what could unfold on the court. The Cougars have shown a pattern in their recent games that may give us insight into their upcoming performance against the Vandals.

Washington State Cougars VS Santa Clara Broncos

Looking back at the game on March 15, where Washington State faced off against Eastern Washington Eagles, we saw a team that struggled with two-point shots, making only 33 percent compared to Eastern Washington's 54 percent. However, they excelled beyond the arc with an impressive 47 percent from three-point range. Despite this strength from distance and more steals (9), they fell short by seven points in a high-scoring affair.

In another close encounter during the Pac-12 Quarterfinals on March 9 against Oregon Ducks, WSU lost by just five points. They improved their two-point field goal percentage slightly to 41 percent but couldn't match Oregon's prowess in paint scoring. The Ducks dominated there with 42 points compared to WSU's modest 18.

However, it was a different story when WSU played California Golden Bears on March 8; they came out victorious with better overall shooting and rebounding statistics. They managed to secure more defensive rebounds (27) than offensive ones (13), which could be crucial in controlling Idaho's offense.

The upcoming game presents an opportunity for redemption and showcasing improvements for WSU. Their ability to capitalize on three-pointers might be key once again as they face an Idaho team that will come prepared for battle.

With these past performances as indicators, it is clear that if WSU can tighten up their defense in paint and maintain their perimeter shooting efficiency, they stand a good chance of securing victory over Idaho Vandals at home soil.

Fans should mark their calendars for November 7th when these teams clash at Beasley Coliseum starting at 8:00 PM local time (11:00 PM ET). This matchup promises excitement and can be caught live on Pac-12 Network – an event not to be missed by basketball enthusiasts!
