First Half


The game began with both teams displaying strong defensive strategies. The Mountaineers took an early lead, scoring 37 points in the first half compared to the Buckeyes' 27. Honor Huff was instrumental for WVU, contributing significantly to their offensive efforts. His shooting accuracy and ability to find open teammates kept West Virginia ahead during this period.


Second Half


In the second half, Ohio State mounted a comeback by outscoring WVU 41-31.
