Hilltoppers Outpace Panthers in High-Scoring Showdown

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers and the Florida International Panthers delivered an offensive spectacle, with the Hilltoppers emerging victorious with a final score of 105-91. The home team's record now stands at an impressive 1-0, while the Panthers fall to 0-1.

In a game that saw the scoreboard light up at E. A. Diddle Arena, the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers showcased their offensive might against the visiting Florida International Panthers. The home side's scoring was relentless from start to finish, putting up 49 points in the first half and adding another dominant 56 points in the second half.

Despite committing one more turnover than their opponents (20), Western Kentucky managed to capitalize on turnovers better by scoring more points off turnovers (24) than Florida International did (21).


Florida International did put forth a valiant effort despite falling short on defense against such high shooting percentages from Western Kentucky.
