As the Wisconsin Badgers prepare to host the Maryland Terrapins at the Kohl Center, fans are eager to see if their team can continue its recent performance trends. Analyzing past games, we've seen a mixed bag of results for the Badgers. In their most recent outing against Marquette Golden Eagles, they secured an 80-77 victory after a nail-biting overtime. Their offensive prowess was on display with a solid field goal percentage of 51 and an impressive three-point percentage of 44. They also dished out 21 assists, showing good ball movement and teamwork.

However, just days before that triumph, they faced a narrow defeat against Wake Forest Demon Deacons with a scoreline of 75-78. Despite shooting well from beyond the arc (43 percent) and excelling at free throws (83 percent), turnovers and lower rebound numbers might have been their undoing.

Earlier still was a win over USC Trojans where they scored 64 points to USC's 59. The team showed efficiency on both ends of the court with decent shooting percentages across the board – field goals at around 45 percent and three-pointers at approximately 42 percent – coupled with strong defensive efforts limiting personal fouls to just seven.

The trend suggests that when Wisconsin controls turnovers and maintains high shooting percentages, especially from long range, they come out on top. Rebounding has been less consistent but will be crucial against Maryland.

Fans should expect another close contest as these collegiate athletes battle it out on December 7th at Kohl Center – home advantage could be key here for Wisconsin. With ESPN2 broadcasting nationally starting at local time (Madison), supporters won't miss any action whether attending in person or cheering from home.
