On defense, AJ Storr stood out for Wisconsin with two steals and four rebounds. His efforts were emblematic of a team that never gave up despite facing adversity.

Offensively, JMU maintained balance across their lineup which contributed to their victory. Their ability to draw fouls played a crucial role as they made good use of free throw opportunities by converting them at a rate of seventy percent.
