Wyoming Cowboys Set to Dominate Fresno State Bulldogs at Thomas & Mack Center

As the Wyoming Cowboys prepare to face off against the Fresno State Bulldogs, all eyes are on what promises to be an electrifying encounter at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. The Cowboys, coming off a resounding victory over the Bulldogs just days ago on March 10th, look poised to repeat their dominant performance.

In their last meeting, the Cowboys showcased a formidable offense with an impressive 86 points against Fresno State's 47. Their shooting was nothing short of spectacular; they hit 69 percent from two-point range and maintained a strong 57 percent overall field goal percentage. Beyond their scoring prowess, they dominated inside with 44 points in the paint and outrebounded their opponents by a significant margin with 41 total rebounds.

The Bulldogs will have to contend with Wyoming's efficient ball movement which was evident through their 18 assists in that game. Additionally, WYO's defense cannot be underestimated as they managed four blocks and steals each, contributing to nine turnovers for FRES.

Fresno State has some catching up to do if they want to challenge Wyoming this time around. Their previous performance saw them struggling from both two-point (28 percent) and three-point range (31 percent), which significantly hampered their scoring ability. Despite being more aggressive on fast breaks with 12 fast break points compared to Wyoming's five, it wasn't enough to close the gap.

The upcoming game is not just about repeating past successes for WYO; it’s about cementing their dominance over FRES and proving that their last win wasn’t just a fluke but rather a statement of intent for what’s yet come in this season.

Fans should expect WYO’s players to come out with high energy once again as they look forward not only towards another win but also towards building momentum as we move deeper into March Madness territory.

Mark your calendars for March 13th at noon when these two teams will clash once more. The game will be broadcasted live from Las Vegas via MW Network online platform – an opportunity no fan should miss as we witness whether Wyoming can continue its assertive march or if Fresno State can turn the tables in this riveting college basketball rivalry.
