Wyoming Cowboys Narrowly Miss Victory Against Utah State Aggies in Conference Game

The Wyoming Cowboys faced off against the Utah State Aggies in a closely contested conference game, ultimately falling short with a final score of 67-71. This result moves the Cowboys' season record to an adjusted tally, reflecting their performance throughout the season. Despite their best efforts and a strong showing in both halves, scoring 35 and 32 points respectively, they couldn't overcome the Aggies who managed to secure 30 points in the first half and ramped up their offense to add another 41 points in the second.

Key Performances from Wyoming Cowboys


The Wyoming Cowboys showcased determination and skill throughout the game. Jordan Nesbitt stood out with his contribution of 11 points, leading his team's scoring effort. He also demonstrated his prowess on defense by pulling down 7 rebounds. Dontaie Allen followed closely behind with a solid performance that included scoring 10 points and securing 5 rebounds, contributing significantly to both ends of the court.


Scottie Ebube and Matija Belic each added crucial plays for Wyoming, with Ebube making all of his field goal attempts to contribute 6 points while Belic matched this score but also showcased versatility by adding a block and steal each to their defensive efforts.
