The Air Force Falcons, with a record of 0-0 before the game, faced off against the Fresno State Bulldogs and were outscored 49-59. However, it was not enough to overcome the Bulldogs' surge in the final quarter where they racked up an impressive 21 points.

Air Force Falcons VS Fresno State Bulldogs

The game at Save Mart Center saw the Air Force Falcons put up a valiant effort against their opponents. The team's defensive efforts resulted in three blocks and ten steals over the course of play. Offensively, they managed to score thirty points from within the paint and added another thirteen points off turnovers caused by their aggressive defense.

Despite these efforts, shooting accuracy proved challenging for the Falcons; they shot at thirty-two percent from field goal range and seventeen percent from beyond the arc. Their free throw performance was notably better with seventy-three percent of shots made from the line.

One area where both teams were neck-and-neck was assists; The Air Force had seven while Fresno State slightly edged them out with nine assists. This small margin reflected how closely contested this match-up was despite what the final score might suggest.

The Bulldogs capitalized on fast breaks scoring fifteen fast break points compared to seven by The Air Force which contributed significantly to their victory margin. Additionally, Fresno State's two-point shooting percentage stood at fifty-three percent which surpassed that of The Air Force's thirty-nine percent.

In terms of rebounds, The Air Force collected a total of thirty-three rebounds with an even split between offensive and defensive boards (fourteen each). This rebounding effort showed their determination on both ends of the court but ultimately fell short as Fresno State gathered four more total rebounds than them.

As for turnovers - always a critical aspect - both teams had similar numbers: twenty-one for The Air Force and twenty-two for Fresno State showing how tightly contested possession was throughout this encounter.

Looking ahead after this tough loss on foreign ground, fans can anticipate seeing their team back in action when they host San Diego State Aztecs at Clune Arena located in Colorado Springs on January 3rd at 5:30 PM Mountain Time Zone (MT). Fans eager to support can catch all live action as it unfolds next year.
