The game unfolded at Harry A. Gampel Pavilion with an energetic crowd of 10,299 spectators in attendance. The Wildcats started strong, outscoring the Orange 21-15 in the first quarter but were unable to maintain this lead as they fell behind in subsequent quarters with scores of 16-17, 14-19, and finally 18-23.

Arizona's performance was marked by aggressive defense and swift ball movement. They tallied an impressive total of 15 steals and contributed to their scoreline with fast break points totaling 13. Despite their efforts on defense which included four blocks and limiting their blocked attempts to just one, it wasn't enough to secure victory.

Offensively, Arizona showed proficiency inside the paint scoring a substantial portion of their points there (28), indicating effective penetration against Syracuse's defenses. Their shooting from beyond the arc was less successful; despite attempting 19 three-pointers they only converted five into points reflecting a three-point percentage of just about one-quarter success rate (26 percent). However, they fared better closer to basket making twenty out of thirty-four two-point attempts (59 percent).

Free throws were another area where Arizona excelled; they made good on fourteen out of eighteen attempts which translates into a commendable free throw percentage (78 percent). This accuracy from the line is indicative of both discipline under pressure and technical skill.

Rebounding was fairly balanced for Arizona who collected a total of thirty-two rebounds throughout the game – twenty defensive rebounds helped mitigate second-chance opportunities for Syracuse while nine offensive rebounds provided additional scoring chances for themselves.

Despite these efforts by Arizona players who turned over possession twenty-one times during play – this aspect proved detrimental as it allowed Syracuse to capitalize on turnovers scoring sixteen points off them directly contributing significantly towards final outcome which favored home team.

Looking ahead fans can catch next broadcast featuring Wildcats as they continue their season journey hoping rebound from this setback – tune in live at your local time zone for all action-packed moments!
