Razorbacks Set to Challenge Tigers at Bon Secours Arena

As the Arkansas Razorbacks prepare to face off against the Auburn Tigers, fans are looking toward the upcoming clash with a mix of anticipation and trepidation. The Razorbacks' recent performances have been less than stellar, and their upcoming game on March 7th at Bon Secours Wellness Arena is shaping up to be a true test of their resolve.

Arkansas Razorbacks VS Auburn Tigers

In their last outing on March 1st against the top-ranked Gamecocks, ARK was outplayed in almost every aspect of the game. Despite a strong start with 22 points in the first quarter, they struggled to maintain momentum, scoring only 9 points in the second quarter and eventually falling with a final score of 61-98. Their field goal percentage stood at just 33 percent compared to South Carolina's impressive 61 percent. Moreover, ARK's three-point shooting was particularly concerning at a mere 20 percent accuracy.

The Razorbacks' defense also left much to be desired as they allowed an overwhelming 56 points in the paint and managed only three blocks throughout the game. Rebounding was another area where ARK fell short; they were outrebounded by South Carolina who grabbed an imposing total of 53 rebounds – more than double that of Arkansas.

However, it wasn't all doom and gloom for ARK fans. The team showed resilience by maintaining a free throw percentage of 73 percent – an area that could be crucial in close games if they can draw fouls effectively.

Looking back further into February provides additional context for ARK's current form. Against Vanderbilt on February 25th, Arkansas again struggled offensively with just a slightly better field goal percentage at around one-third made shots but still lost with a scoreline reading just over half-a-century: Arkansas scored only 53 points against Vanderbilt’s defensive pressure which led them to victory with nine more points.

The Razorbacks did show some defensive prowess earlier against Texas A&M on February 23rd when they recorded seven blocks but still ended up losing by six points due mainly because their offense couldn't keep pace scoring only two-thirds as many as needed for victory while allowing over seventy from Aggies’ side.

As we approach this pivotal match-up between ARK and Auburn Tigers (AUB), it is clear that improvements are needed both offensively and defensively if Arkansas wishes not just compete but also secure wins during these critical late-season games where every point counts towards postseason aspirations.

Fans can catch this crucial encounter live from Greenville on March seventh sharp at five o'clock PM local time via SEC Network television broadcast or join fellow supporters cheering loud hoping for turnaround performance capable enough upset home side advantage held by formidable opponents such as AUB whose own ambitions will undoubtedly make them tough adversaries come game day.
