Boise State Broncos Set to Challenge UNLV Rebels at Cox Pavilion

As the Boise State Broncos gear up for their next encounter against the UNLV Rebels, fans are looking forward to what promises to be an electrifying game at the Cox Pavilion. The Broncos, coming off a nail-biting game against the Nevada Wolf Pack where they scored 65 points but fell short by three, are determined to bounce back and secure a victory.

Boise State Broncos VS UNLV Rebels

The previous matchup on February 17 saw BSU showing resilience throughout the quarters and pushing into overtime. Despite their efforts and a commendable 42 rebounds, they couldn't clinch the win. However, one cannot overlook their tenacity; with eight steals and an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.3, it's clear that BSU has grit.

In contrast, when we look at their performance against Utah State Aggies on February 15, BSU displayed remarkable prowess from beyond the arc with a three-point percentage of 45 – sinking an impressive 13 threes out of 29 attempts. This sharpshooting coupled with a higher assist count (19) and fewer turnovers (8) led them to a comfortable win with a score of 73-57.

The defensive aspect for BSU cannot be ignored either; in their home game against Wyoming Cowgirls on February 10, they managed ten steals which played a crucial role in securing those extra possessions that led them to outscore Wyoming by fourteen points.

While statistics favor Boise State in several aspects such as assists turnover ratio and points off turnovers from past games – it's important not to underestimate UNLV Rebels' potential threat at home. The Rebels will have home-court advantage which can never be discounted especially when playing in front of an energetic crowd like that at Cox Pavilion.

Fans should expect Boise State Broncos' defense to step up once again as they did against Wyoming Cowgirls where they had four blocks contributing significantly towards limiting Cowgirls' scoring opportunities. Offensively speaking, if BSU can replicate or even improve upon their shooting efficiency shown during the Utah State Aggies game – particularly from deep – there is no reason why they shouldn't walk away victorious this time around.

Mark your calendars for February 28th at 7:30 PM when Boise State takes on UNLV Rebels in Las Vegas. It’s going to be an intense showdown you wouldn’t want to miss! Fans can catch all the action live as it unfolds right from Cox Pavilion or tune into local broadcasts for real-time coverage of this anticipated clash.
