Boise State Broncos VS Air Force Falcons

The game at ExtraMile Arena was a rollercoaster of emotions for fans, as both teams displayed remarkable tenacity. The Broncos, despite trailing in the first half with scores of 12 and 6 in the first two quarters respectively, surged back with an impressive 25 points in the third quarter and continued their momentum by adding another 23 points to their tally in the fourth. However, it was not enough to secure victory over the Falcons who had managed to accumulate a total of 67 points by game's end.

Boise State's defensive efforts were noteworthy as they racked up eight blocks and four steals during play. Their rebounding was also superior; they outrebounded their opponents with a total of 39 rebounds compared to Air Force's 28. The offensive rebounds were particularly significant for Boise State, grabbing fifteen compared to just five from Air Force.

Despite these efforts, shooting percentages told another story. Boise State struggled from beyond the arc hitting only three out of fourteen attempts which translated into a mere twenty-one percent success rate from three-point range. Their overall field goal percentage stood at thirty-five percent which paled when compared to Air Force's forty-three percent.

On offense, free throws were crucial for Boise State as they made twenty-seven out of thirty-five attempts giving them a seventy-seven percent completion rate from the line which contributed significantly to their point total. Points off turnovers were another area where Boise State excelled; they capitalized on turnovers scoring eighteen points through these opportunities.

Air Force’s performance was highlighted by their precision from free throw line where they achieved an impressive ninety-three percent accuracy rate making fourteen out of fifteen shots attempted. They also showed proficiency from long range sinking seven out of seventeen three-pointers resulting in forty-one percent efficiency.

As fans look ahead after this nail-biting encounter, attention turns towards future matchups for both teams involved today’s contest – particularly for those supporting Boise State Broncos who will be looking forward towards redemption on foreign ground when they visit Colorado State Rams at Moby Arena located in Fort Collins on March 5th at 6:30 PM local time (Mountain Time Zone).
