Clemson Tigers Clash with Longwood Lancers at Littlejohn Coliseum in Women's Basketball Showdown

As the Clemson Tigers prepare to host the Longwood Lancers at Littlejohn Coliseum, fans are eager to see if their team can continue their winning ways. The upcoming game on November 19 promises to be an exciting matchup, but a closer look at the statistics suggests that the Tigers might have more than just home-court advantage.

In their last outing against Charleston Southern Buccaneers on November 11, Clemson displayed a dominant performance with an 85-55 victory. Their offense was firing on all cylinders, shooting 50 percent from the field and an impressive 59 percent from inside the arc. The defense wasn't far behind either, forcing 21 turnovers and converting them into 31 points. This kind of two-way play is exactly what fans have come to expect from this squad.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for Clemson in recent games. The November 17 clash with South Carolina Gamecocks was a tough pill to swallow as they were outscored by a staggering margin of 109-40. It highlighted some areas for improvement; particularly concerning was their three-point percentage which languished around just 11 percent and overall field goal percentage of only about 22 percent.

But redemption came swiftly against Mercer Bears on November 12 when Clemson bounced back with a commanding performance that saw them rack up a total of 90 points while shooting over half of their attempts successfully from the field and nearly sixty-eight percent from the free-throw line.

The key takeaway here is consistency – when Clemson plays to its strengths and maintains focus throughout all four quarters, they are capable of overpowering opponents with relative ease. Against Longwood Lancers, maintaining that level of play will be crucial.

The Lancers will certainly not make it easy for them; every opponent deserves respect and has potential game-changers who could swing momentum in their favor. However, if recent performances are anything to go by – especially considering how well-rounded Clemson's offense has been – there is reason for optimism among Tiger fans.

Looking ahead to November 19 at Littlejohn Coliseum scheduled for tip-off at approximately eight-thirty PM local time (EST), supporters should mark their calendars for what could be another showcase event for this talented team. For those unable to attend in person, details regarding broadcast networks should be available soon but rest assured that wherever you find yourself during game time – this is one matchup you won't want to miss.
