From the opening tip-off at Littlejohn Coliseum, the Clemson Tigers set a vigorous pace against the visiting Boston College Eagles. The first quarter ended with Clemson leading by six points, thanks to an assertive offensive performance that put up 19 points against 13 from Boston College. This early lead was crucial for setting the tone for what was to come.

The second quarter saw both teams ramp up their efforts, but it was Clemson's defense that shone through. Despite being outscored by two points in this period, they maintained a lead into halftime. The third quarter mirrored this intensity but once again saw Clemson extend their lead by three points.

Throughout the game, key statistics highlighted Clemson's balanced attack and solid defense. They shot an efficient 49 percent from field goals and an impressive 44 percent from beyond the arc while making seven three-pointers. Their defensive prowess was on full display as they racked up eleven steals and capitalized on turnovers with seventeen points off turnovers.

Boston College struggled to find rhythm from long range, failing to make any of their eleven attempts at three-pointers and shooting only 45 percent overall from field goals. Their aggressive play led them to commit twenty-one personal fouls compared to seventeen by Clemson.

One standout player for Clemson was undoubtedly instrumental in securing this win; her ability to control both ends of the floor contributed significantly to her team's success. With ten assists doubling those of Boston College's five and contributing defensively with one block and multiple steals, she orchestrated plays that kept her team ahead throughout all four quarters.
