In their last encounter on February 8, 2024, Clemson fell just short against Miami in a nail-biting overtime finish, with a final score of 72-75. Despite this loss, there were several positive takeaways for CLEM that should not be overlooked. The team demonstrated strong free-throw capabilities with a 79 percent success rate and showed they could maintain pressure by forcing turnovers and capitalizing on them with 23 points off turnovers.

CLEM's performance against Boston College Eagles on February 2 showcased their defensive prowess as they racked up steals and kept their opponents' scoring opportunities limited from beyond the arc. This defensive tenacity will be crucial when facing MIA's offense that has proven it can penetrate defenses effectively.

However, one area where CLEM must improve is in maintaining possession. In both previous games against MIA and BC, turnovers were high – totaling 16 and 26 respectively. Reducing these will be key to controlling the game's pace and keeping MIA from gaining momentum through fast-break points.

The Hurricanes are not without their strengths; they outrebounded CLEM in their last meeting by grabbing an impressive total of 44 rebounds compared to CLEM’s 33. Their ability to convert two-point attempts at a rate of 55 percent also poses a significant threat inside the paint.

Looking ahead to February 25th’s clash at Littlejohn Coliseum set for a tip-off at 2:00 PM EST, it is clear that if CLEM can leverage its home-court advantage while tightening ball control and maintaining aggressive defense without fouling too much – they stand more than just a fighting chance against MIA.

Tigers fans should mark their calendars for this pivotal game as it will undoubtedly serve as an indicator of how far this team has come since its last outing against these formidable opponents. The action unfolds live from Clemson, SC; those unable to attend can catch every moment broadcasted live where available.
