Second Quarter

In the second quarter, both defenses tightened up considerably. The Tigers managed to add only 11 points to their tally, while Tech scored just 8 points. Rachael Rose played a pivotal role for Clemson during this period, showcasing her skills and keeping her team competitive despite facing tough opposition from Georgia Tech's defense.

Third Quarter

As play resumed after halftime, Georgia Tech found their rhythm and outscored Clemson by putting up 14 points in contrast to Clemson's 6. This shift in momentum was critical as it allowed the Yellow Jackets to take control of the game heading into the final quarter. Demeara Hinds made notable contributions on defense for Clemson with her blocking ability but struggled offensively along with her teammates during this stretch.

Fourth Quarter

The final quarter was marked by an intense back-and-forth battle between both teams as they each scored 19 points apiece. Despite a valiant effort from Mia Moore and Hadley Periman who combined for crucial plays down the stretch, it wasn't enough for Clemson to overcome Georgia Tech’s slight edge established earlier in third period play.

The game concluded with a narrow victory for Georgia Tech over Clemson by a scoreline of 58-55; leaving them undefeated at home (2-0) while handing another loss (0-2) onto visiting side’s record sheet.
