The game, held at CU Events Center in Boulder, saw the home team take control from the start. The Buffaloes set an aggressive pace early on, outscoring the Mavericks 29-23 in the first quarter and maintaining their lead throughout. By halftime, they had further solidified their advantage with a second-quarter score of 22-13.

The Colorado team's offensive efforts were matched by their defensive tenacity. They racked up a total of 12 steals and blocked two shots over four quarters. Their rebounding was particularly dominant; they collected 49 rebounds to the Maverick's 33. This included a notable difference in offensive rebounds where Colorado secured 12 compared to just two by Texas-Arlington.

On offense, Colorado showcased remarkable efficiency and teamwork with an assist-turnover ratio of 1.75 based on their impressive tally of 28 assists against only sixteen turnovers. Their shooting accuracy was also noteworthy as they achieved a field goal percentage of approximately forty-seven percent and made thirteen three-pointers at forty-two percent accuracy.

Despite facing a formidable opponent ranked eighth nationally, Texas-Arlington managed to put up respectable numbers themselves but could not match Colorado's intensity or execution on either end of the court. The Mavericks shot forty-three percent from beyond the arc and seventy-four percent from free throw line but struggled with turnovers which amounted to fifteen for them compared to eighteen points off turnovers for Colorado.

As fans look ahead, they can anticipate another exciting matchup as the Colorado Buffaloes are scheduled to face off against Northern Colorado Bears at CU Events Center on December twenty-first at noon local time (2 PM Eastern Time). This encounter will be broadcasted live on Pac-12 Network for fans unable to attend what promises to be another showcase event for women’s basketball enthusiasts.
