First Quarter


The opening quarter set the tone for a defensive battle. The Buffs managed to score 13 points while holding the Cowgirls to 15. Desiree Wooten's quick hands contributed significantly as she recorded multiple steals, disrupting Wyoming's offensive flow.


Second Quarter


In the second quarter, Colorado began to pull away with a strong performance on both ends of the court. They scored 17 points compared to Wyoming's mere 4. JoJo Nworie was pivotal during this period, dominating inside with her rebounding prowess and adding crucial points in the paint.


Third Quarter


Wyoming attempted a comeback in the third quarter by scoring 13 points; however, Colorado matched them point for point with another solid performance from Zyanna Walker who continued her efficient shooting from mid-range. The Buffs' defense remained steadfast as they forced turnovers that led to fast-break opportunities.


Fourth Quarter


Entering the final quarter with momentum on their side, Colorado maintained their composure despite Wyoming’s efforts to close the gap. Anaëlle Dutat showcased her versatility by contributing defensively and offensively as she helped seal off any potential comeback attempts by scoring key baskets down low.
