Clash at Moby Arena: Colorado State Rams to Host San Jose State Spartans

As the Colorado State Rams prepare to welcome the San Jose State Spartans at Moby Arena, fans are brimming with anticipation for what promises to be a riveting encounter. The upcoming game scheduled for January 27th is set against a backdrop of recent performances that give us much to consider.

Colorado State Rams VS San Jose State Spartans

The Rams' last home game on December 21st against the Mississippi State Bulldogs ended in a narrow defeat, with a final score of 75-82. Despite the loss, there were positive takeaways for CSU. They shot an impressive 49 percent from the field and an even more remarkable 58 percent from two-point range. However, their three-point shooting was less effective at 36 percent and free throw accuracy stood at just 50 percent – areas that will require attention before facing SJSU.

In contrast, during their away game on December 17th against UC Irvine Anteaters, CSU emerged victorious with a score of 69-63. Their three-point shooting was notably better at around 43 percent and they maintained high free throw accuracy at approximately 83 percent. This victory showcased their ability to close out games even when playing outside their home court.

However, it's worth noting that in another away game on December 16th against Long Beach State Beach, CSU narrowly lost by one point with a final score of 76-77. Turnovers were an issue as they gave up possession sixteen times which translated into fifteen points off turnovers for Long Beach State.

Looking ahead to the matchup with SJSU, it's clear that if CSU can maintain their strong field goal percentage while tightening up their three-point shooting and reducing turnovers, they stand a good chance of securing another win for their record. The defense will also need to step up; blocks and steals could prove crucial in disrupting SJSU's rhythm.

The Spartans come into this game as underdogs but cannot be underestimated; any lapse in concentration by CSU could be exploited by the visiting team who will look to cause an upset away from home.

Fans can expect CSU’s players to come out strong in front of their home crowd aiming for redemption after falling short in previous encounters this season. With strategic adjustments and focused execution on both ends of the court, I predict that Colorado State Rams have what it takes to secure victory over San Jose State Spartans come game day.

Remember fans – mark your calendars! The action unfolds on January 27th at Moby Arena located in Fort Collins starting at sharp eight o'clock PM Mountain Time (MT). While there are no broadcast networks listed yet for viewing options keep your eyes peeled closer to tip-off time so you don't miss any part of this exciting match-up!
