At the Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center, home to intense basketball matchups, fans witnessed another competitive game as the Florida State Seminoles took on their rivals. The game started off strong for the Seminoles who put up 23 points in the first quarter but saw a dip in momentum scoring only 12 points in the second. However, they regained their form by adding 14 and an impressive 30 points in subsequent quarters.

The Florida State team showcased solid defensive skills with three blocks and ten steals throughout the game. Their offensive efforts were equally notable as they made five three-pointers at a rate of thirty-three percent accuracy and excelled at free throws with an eighty-three percent completion rate. Dominating inside play was evident as they scored thirty-six points in paint.

Rebounding was another area where Florida State excelled; they pulled down forty-five rebounds including ten offensive boards which contributed to six second-chance points. Despite committing seventeen personal fouls and turning over possession ten times, their assist-to-turnover ratio stood firm at one point one.

On the other side of court action, despite seven blocks and twenty personal fouls leading to one foul out situation for them, The Gators managed to keep pace initially but ultimately fell short by four points. They converted half of their two-point attempts into scores and grabbed forty-six rebounds but struggled from beyond the arc with only twenty-five percent shooting accuracy from three-point range.
