The Seminoles have been on a tear recently, demonstrating their prowess in a spectacular fashion. Their last game against the Alabama State Hornets on December 20th was nothing short of a masterclass in basketball dominance. The FSU team put up an impressive 110 points against the Hornets' 45, with an outstanding shooting performance that saw them hitting over half their field goals and nearly 90 percent from the free-throw line.

Moreover, FSU's defensive efforts cannot be overlooked; they racked up eight blocks and twelve steals while keeping personal fouls to just eight. This defensive solidity combined with their offensive firepower resulted in a staggering 31 points off turnovers and an assist-to-turnover ratio of over one-and-a-half.

In contrast, Georgia Tech has had its struggles but should not be underestimated. They will have home-court advantage and will undoubtedly look to leverage that against FSU's high-flying offense. However, if recent performances are anything to go by, it seems unlikely that they'll be able to stifle the Seminoles' scoring machine.

FSU's consistency has been evident not only in their victory over Alabama State but also in previous games like their win against Drexel Dragons on December 17th where they scored 76 points while maintaining solid shooting percentages across the board. Even when faced with tougher competition such as UCLA Bruins where they lost scoring 78 points compared to UCLA’s 95 on December 10th; FSU showed resilience and capability which suggests that they can bounce back from setbacks effectively.

Looking ahead at this matchup between Florida State Seminoles and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, it is clear that if FSU maintains their form – particularly their lethal combination of efficient scoring and tenacious defense – they stand a very good chance of coming away with another win for this season.

Fans eager to support or witness what could potentially be another commanding performance by Florida State can catch all the action live from Atlanta on January 28th at Hank McCamish Pavilion starting at sharp nine o'clock PM Eastern Time.
