The Georgia Lady Bulldogs faced a challenging contest at Stegeman Coliseum, ending with a score of 95-73 in favor of the visiting Lady Volunteers. The home team's record now stands at an even 0-0, while the Tennessee squad improves to 0-0.

Tennessee Lady Volunteers VS Georgia Lady Bulldogs

From the opening quarter, the Georgia Lady Bulldogs found themselves trailing, scoring 14 points to Tennessee's 19. Despite their efforts, they fell further behind by halftime with an additional 10 points compared to Tennessee's 22 in the second quarter. A resurgence came in the third quarter when Georgia amassed an impressive 30 points but it was not enough to close the gap as Tennessee countered with 25. The final period saw Georgia add another 19 points; however, Tennessee sealed their victory with a strong finish of 29 points.

The statistics tell a story of hard-fought battles and standout performances from both sides. The Lady Volunteers demonstrated sharp shooting accuracy with a field goal percentage of fifty percent and were particularly lethal from beyond the arc hitting forty-one percent of their three-point attempts. Their free throw precision was nearly flawless at ninety-four percent.

In contrast, despite being outscored overall, the Georgia Lady Bulldogs showcased tenacity on defense with ten steals and also managed two blocks during play. They shot well inside the arc with a fifty-two percent success rate on two-point attempts and maintained solid free throw performance at eighty percent completion.

A key aspect where Georgia excelled was in fast break situations where they scored twelve fast break points against Tennessee's eight. However, turnovers proved costly for both teams; although Georgia had fewer turnovers (fourteen) than Tennessee (fifteen), they were unable to capitalize as effectively on these opportunities.

The next game for the Georgia Lady Bulldogs is set against Kentucky Wildcats at Stegeman Coliseum located in Athens GA on February fourth scheduled for noon local time. Fans can catch all upcoming action live as it unfolds on court.
