Hoosiers Narrowly Outscored at Jack Breslin Students Events Center in Women's Basketball Showdown

The Indiana Hoosiers, ranked fourth, faced a challenging away game against the unranked Michigan State Spartans in women's basketball. The contest concluded with the Hoosiers at 78 and the Spartans slightly ahead with 83.

The Spartans capitalized on second-chance opportunities by scoring fifteen second-chance points compared to ten by the Hoosiers. Moreover, Michigan State excelled beyond the three-point line hitting four out of nine attempts resulting in a remarkable three-point shooting percentage of approximately 44 percent.


As for individual performances from Indiana University players that stood out: there were notable contributions across various statistical categories including assists where they accumulated nineteen throughout the game demonstrating teamwork and collaboration on court.
