Hoosiers' Stellar Performance

The Indiana Hoosiers showcased their dominance early on, setting the pace with a robust offense and steadfast defense. Their scoring was particularly notable in the third quarter, where they amassed 36 points, demonstrating their ability to capitalize on opportunities and extend their lead significantly.

Shay Ciezki emerged as one of the standout players for the Hoosiers, contributing 16 points along with seven assists and four rebounds. Her shooting accuracy was remarkable, hitting 62 percent from the field and an impressive 67 percent from beyond the arc. Sydney Parrish also made significant contributions with her game-high 22 points on an astounding 73 percent shooting from the field and perfect free throw performance.

Yarden Garzon's all-around play was crucial for Indiana; she added 14 points to her team's tally while facilitating three assists and grabbing five rebounds. Her defensive efforts were highlighted by one block and one steal.

Scarlet Knights' Valiant Effort

Despite facing a formidable opponent in Indiana, Rutgers showed resilience throughout the game. They managed to improve their scoring in each quarter but struggled to contain Indiana's explosive offense. The team shot 39 percent from field goals but had difficulty finding success from three-point range with only a 15 percent success rate.

The Scarlet Knights were led by efforts that saw them fighting for every point inside paint where they scored half of their total points (30). However, turnovers proved costly for them as they gave away possession thirteen times which translated into ten points off turnovers for Indiana.
