Key Performances and Tactical Mastery

The game was highlighted by exceptional performances from several Hoosiers players. Shay Ciezki led the scoring for Indiana with 17 points, complemented by her defensive prowess that included 2 blocks and a steal. Not far behind, Yarden Garzon contributed significantly with 18 points, demonstrating her efficiency from beyond the arc by hitting 57 percent of her three-point attempts.

Chloe Moore-McNeil also made notable contributions across the board with 13 points, leading assists for her team with five, and securing three steals. Her performance underscored her all-around impact on both ends of the floor.

Indiana's tactical execution was evident through their impressive shooting accuracy. The team shot at an overall field goal percentage of 45 percent while excelling at free throws where they converted an outstanding 94 percent of their attempts. Their defense was equally formidable, amassing five blocks and six steals throughout the game which disrupted Oregon's offensive flow.

Oregon Ducks' Efforts

Despite falling short against a strong Indiana side, The Oregon Ducks showed resilience and had moments where they threatened to close down leads. They were led by their bench players who contributed a total of 26 points to their cause but struggled to contain Indiana's offensive threats effectively.

The Ducks managed to maintain a competitive edge in rebounds with a total count of 36 compared to Indiana's 31 but were hampered by turnovers which amounted to eighteen over the course of play—this proved costly against an efficient Indiana offense that capitalized on these opportunities.
