Despite facing challenges on offense, Sydney Affolter made significant contributions on defense and playmaking, ending up with nine rebounds and five assists. Hannah Stuelke added ten points to the scoreboard for Iowa and managed to block one shot while grabbing four rebounds.


Sooners' Dominance


On the other side of the court, Oklahoma displayed strong teamwork and strategic gameplay. Their defense was particularly effective, resulting in six blocks compared to Iowa's two and achieving thirteen steals over Iowa's five. The home team also excelled in rebounding with a total of sixty-four rebounds against thirty-three by Iowa.


Oklahoma's offensive efforts were led by their ability to capitalize on second-chance opportunities, scoring twenty-two second-chance points which significantly contributed to their win. Their bench players also played a crucial role by adding thirty-three points to their total score.
