Iowa State Cyclones Face Defeat by Texas Longhorns in Big 12 Championship

The team's free throw performance was commendable as well; they made seven out of nine attempts which rounded up to seventy-eight percent accuracy. Points in paint were also notable for Iowa State with twenty-four credited to them.

Rebounding was another area where both teams were closely matched; however, it slightly favored Texas who secured thirty rebounds over Iowa States' twenty-eight. Personal rebounds accounted for most of this statistic for both teams—twenty-five for Iowa State and twenty-six for Texas—with defensive rebounds being particularly strong for Iowa State at twenty-four.
