The Wildcats showcased commendable effort on both ends of the court. They managed to convert six out of thirteen three-point attempts, translating to an impressive three-point shooting percentage of 46 percent. Their free throw accuracy was notable as well, with a success rate of 65 percent from the line. Defensively, Kentucky's performance was highlighted by six steals and two blocks during playtime but was overshadowed by twenty-four personal fouls which contributed to their defeat. The team also gathered twenty-three rebounds—nineteen personal and four team rebounds—with fifteen being defensive ones which were crucial in limiting second-chance points for their opponents.

On Georgia's side, tenacity on defense resulted in ten steals and capitalized on turnovers scoring fifteen points off them. They also dominated rebounding with forty-three total rebounds—thirty-nine personal—and excelled from within close range making fifty-one percent of their two-point attempts.

Moreover, despite struggling behind the arc with just twenty-three percent efficiency on three-pointers; they still managed to finish strong with forty-five percent overall shooting from field goals.
