Liberty Lady Flames Set to Ignite Against Florida International Panthers at Home Ground

As the Liberty Lady Flames prepare to host the Florida International Panthers, fans are eager for what promises to be a thrilling encounter at Liberty Arena. The Flames have been showing a mixed bag of performances in their recent outings, but they've demonstrated resilience and an ability to bounce back that should not be underestimated.

Liberty Flames VS Florida International Panthers

In their last game against the Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters, the Flames secured a narrow victory with 58 points against 53. Despite shooting just 30 percent from the field and 29 percent from beyond the arc, they managed to pull through thanks to an impressive free-throw percentage of 82 and a strong defensive effort that saw them grab 43 rebounds.

However, consistency has been an issue for Liberty as evidenced by their performance against Middle Tennessee's Blue Raiders. The team struggled offensively, only managing a field goal percentage of 33 and losing by a significant margin with 55 points to Middle Tennessee's commanding score of 81. Turnovers were particularly problematic in this matchup as they gave up possession ten times.

But it's not all doom and gloom for the Lady Flames; when playing on home turf earlier this month against UTEP Miners, they showcased what can only be described as offensive fireworks. Dominating with an outstanding final score of 87-68, Liberty shot with remarkable accuracy: over half their attempts from two-point range found its mark (64 percent), while nearly half from three-point land were successful (48 percent). This high-scoring game was complemented by excellent ball distribution resulting in an impressive total of twenty-four assists.

The upcoming game is set against this backdrop of fluctuating performances but also undeniable potential. With home-court advantage where they've recently shown their best form, Liberty will look to capitalize on their strengths: aggressive rebounding and sharpshooting when it counts.

Fans can catch all the action on February 23rd at Liberty Arena in Lynchburg or tune into live coverage available through local sports networks. The tip-off is scheduled for Eastern Time Zone convenience; don't miss out on what could be another standout performance by our very own Lady Flames!
