Liberty Flames and Aggies Set for Showdown at Von Braun Center

As the Liberty Flames prepare to face off against the New Mexico State Aggies, fans are eagerly anticipating what promises to be a thrilling encounter. The Flames, coming off a nail-biting victory over the Lady Toppers on March 13 with a score of 62-59, have shown resilience and an ability to close out tight games. This win was characterized by their impressive rebounding advantage, grabbing 43 rebounds compared to their opponents' 32, and shooting an unblemished free throw percentage.

Liberty Flames VS New Mexico State Aggies

The Flames' performance in recent games has been a rollercoaster of sorts. Their offensive prowess was on full display against Western Kentucky on March 9 when they racked up an impressive 84 points with scorching field goal and free throw percentages of 60 and 91 respectively. However, this high-flying offense was grounded in their subsequent game against Middle Tennessee on March 7 where they only managed to put up 52 points with subpar shooting from both the field and beyond the arc.

Despite these inconsistencies, there is reason for optimism as the Flames head into their next game. Their three-point shooting has been notably efficient at times, hitting a solid rate of success that could prove pivotal against NMSU's defense.

On the other side of the court stands New Mexico State Aggies who will not make things easy for LIB. The Aggies have demonstrated tenacity in past performances but will need more than grit to overcome Liberty's home-court advantage at Von Braun Center.

Looking ahead to this matchup, it's clear that if Liberty can harness their offensive capabilities demonstrated against Western Kentucky while maintaining their defensive composure from recent outings, they stand a good chance of emerging victorious once again.

Fans should mark their calendars for what promises to be an exciting contest between these two teams. The scheduled tip-off is set for March 16 at Von Braun Center in Huntsville at AL time zone (which corresponds to Eastern Time). Those unable to attend can catch all the action live as it unfolds from wherever they are.
